An early birthday present from my parents.
Love it!
Can't use the whispernet feature in Canada, but I can transfer books from my computer to my Kindle here.
So much fun : )
Packing for my cycling trip just got a whole lot easier and less bulky. Instead of agonizing over which books to pack, just grab the Kindle and go.

Congratulations! Hope you love it. Even with Amazon's shenanigans I'm not sorry I bought mine. I haven't hooked mine up to my computer yet, so you'll have to review the experience here.
Did you get a nice juicy gift certificate to start your digital collection?
Linda got familiar with her's at our sleepover. We made a fabric case with ribbon tie. I wish I had some non-DRM stuff I could loan her. That is one of the annoying things, but I still love it.
Have you gotten used to reading on it yet?
