2nd draft done

Yahoo! I'm starting my 3rd revision. You're thinking - oh, she's just making sure she used commas correctly - she's prety much done.
Uhh, no. Between the first and second drafts I had to dump three secondary characters by merging them in with other characters, and my theme shifted a little. I also had to fill in all the parts I skipped over in the first draft to keep myself from getting stuck. So this second draft is probably what you'd normally call a first draft. NOW I can start revising it.
Still, it's a good thing (aagh - delete that - cliche!)

So I see you are moving to Montreal.

Well, good luck living with a vowel then. In a year or two, try adding some consonents.

Excellent! Congrats. When is that conference?

When do I get to read the whole thing?

Conference is the last weekend of April. I 'told' myself I'd send the complete ms to my readers (you & 1 other chick-lit fan) before I leave for the conference - that way I can do one more round of revisions after and be done. Hopefully I'll do what I said and not hold onto it longer...

Let's all hope that e. is my ultimate vowel. I have no desire to hook up with an Ian, Oscar, Umberto or Yves.
